A leading global strategic advisory and communications firm is looking for a talented professional to lead their FIG UK practice, working closely with colleagues globally.

Your key focus would be seeking new business opportunities and contributing market insight and experience to new and existing clients.

Acting as a trusted advisor, you will need to be able to coach and counsel at all levels, including Board and Executive.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day:

• New business: bringing in new business and expanding current client mandates
• Pitching: joining pitch teams to prepare best in class responses
• Client delivery: supporting on existing clients and working on accounts where engagement is in scope
• Relationships: forging strong relationships with clients and investment analysts
• Special situations: working on M&A and rapid change mandates
• Account management: anchoring relationships by providing ongoing counsel and support to clients

The skills you need to bring:

• Deep experience working in communications within finance, either in-house or with an agency’s finance team
• Experience working in both EMEA and the US preferably
• Ability to work on cross-border mandates
• Experience leading complex transactions
• Authoritative approach, able to act as a trusted advisor
• Confidence to lead the FIG team and expand it, if necessary
• An ideas person, looking to create best practice and develop new approaches and offers
• Desire to contribute to thought-leadership through research, articles and events
